SPECS

GTX 660 Twin Frozr 2GB
AMD Phenom X4 965 BE
500GB HDD
M4A88T-M
Windows 8.1 64Bit
8 GB Ram
750W PSU

I was wondering what I should upgrade as some games i play recently e.g. Batman Arkham Origins don't play perfectly smooth like some lag spikes etc. Which has led me to believe its my cpu bottlenecking my system. So i am planning on upgrading to this.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/AMD-FX8350-Edition-Processor-4-...

But this means i also have to upgrade my Motherboard because mine isn't compatible as far as i know.

I was wondering is there anything else i should upgrade? or any advice is also appreciated.

Probably be best to get a 128GB SSD, that may also be one of your problems

buy a board that supports that cpu if that's the one you're going to get.

Wouldn't an SSD only improve load times and not actual gameplay?

From what I have heard, the SSD does help with gameplay, but its always nice to have some extra speed during booting etc

With windows 8.1 my boot time is only about 20-30 secs so it doesn't seem like it would be very cost effective.
