CPU-Z and my RAM

I have a MSI FM2-A55M-E33 motherboard. I have 8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz. In the motherboard's BIOS I have 1866MHz selected as the RAM's frequency. In CPU-Z, it tells me that the RAM is running at 1600MHz. Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Because there is obviously another parameter to set. It might be the auto-config, you have to change to manual. and get ready for a surprise: the ram may not run at a higher frequency.

Can either set it manually - or look for a DOCP or EOCP setting in the BIOS (Advanced page), and can set it there to 1866
