Doing my first build here!
The power connector of the chasis (Bitfenix Phenom) has two pins close to each other but where it should be connected on the motherboard(Maximus VI gene) the two pins are spaced out and two don't match.
What can I do?

Solution
You'd think all manufacturers would standardize, wouldn't you? Either separate the pair into 2 wires or put the 2 pins side-by-side. But I too have run into that problem. I tried looking for an adapter online, but couldn't find one*. Finally, I ended up carefully cutting the 2-wire connector in half with a sharp razor knife. It takes a bit of skill, time, and lots of patience, but it can be done.

* Now, I see that there is a set of FP extension wires available. If all else fails, maybe these will help: http://www.amazon.com/CB-FRPAN-Individually-Sleeved-Connections-Premium/dp/B003ZDNXZI
