Can someone tell me how to add drive to any computer nd disconnect current one.....(regarding dual boot)...thanx in advance :.

I have a HP Pavilion G6 2312AX with preinstalled win 8,but now I feel like moving to win 7 but when I try to install win 7 using a bootable USB ,after reaching the partition selection screen It says "Windows Can`t be installed on the selected partition because it is of GPT partition style".......:(:??:
P.S.-I had already disabled the secure boot and enabled Legacy Boot.....
Thanx in advance.... :)

Go to Disk Manager and assuming you are dedicating a specific unused partition to the new win7 install, ( remove any needed data from the partition first ) delete the partition ( right click on the disk's rectangle, choose "delete volume" ) and re- format it as a "Primary" partition ( right click, "format", follow pop up instructions ). It is likely a "Logical" drive right now, OS's will only install on primary "volumes" or partitions.

I am giving you this info relative to Win 7 and prior, so if Win8 ( I haven't used Win 8 ) has changed the Win 8 Disk manager may be different. Unlikely!
