Windows does not have a valid IP configuration

So getting the above error and only on one computer, but only after cable reset my modem to troubleshoot packet loss issues.

Now one pc works fine, the other still says the above and "unidentified network"

I've tried using the netsh commands, I've tried ipconfig /release and /renew commands as well as /flsuhdns

I've uninstalled network card and rebooted, still nothing, what am I missing???

Make sure that Windows is automatically assigning an IP. You can check this (or set an IP manually if you know how to) by going to Network Connections. Right click on your networking adapter and go to properties. Double click on IPV4 settings.
