can my cpu handle an AMD radeon hd7950?

i have a 3.6 GHz FX-Series Quad-Core FX-4100 cpu/processor in my pc, would it be able to handle an amd radeon hd 7950 without any problems?

It would run fine, however some games will be bottlenecked. I would recommend OC'ing that CPU a bit.

Like above I would recommend overclocking. It should run fine on most games, but some (Planetside 2, Skyrim are two examples) will bottleneck.

i was wrong mines a 3.8ghz idk if that changes anything, but how would i oc? im new to pc gaming

I don't recommend it for someone new to computers. There are guides on this site and others that can direct you.
