if you remove thermal paste from the cpu heatsink you may want 95% isopropyl alcohol and q-tips (cotton swabs). some people use a razer blade to spread new thermal paste on. if you intend on using the already provided paste then you dont need to worry about this.

A normal sized Philips head screwdriver is usually all you need.

Almost any bare table is fine. When working on your PC it is best to make sure some part of your body (skin) comes in contact with the metal chassis especially when installing components. What you don't want is the part to come in contact first.

Another option is to wear an anti-static discharge strap, but isn't strictly necessary.

you need a large flat sturdy surface which is non conductive. i personally like puting a towel laid out on the desk so i dont scratch the case or damage parts.

you should not wear anything which creates static discharge like fleece and it would be best to not stand on carpet .
