Hey guys.
So i got my new PC today, built it up and tried it out, everything worked fine. However, as soon as i downloaded the newest driver for the R9 Series and tried to run it, it told my that i do not have the hardware required to run this programm. So i guess my R9 280x is not recognized as what it actually is.
To give you guys some Specs:
I am running on Win7 64bit.
Motherboard : ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0
RAM : GEIL 16GB DDR3-1600
HDD : Nothing special, 2TB from Seagate.
PSU : BeQuiet PowerZone 1000W
GPU : Asus3GB D5 X R9280X-DC2 R
CPU : AMD FX-8350
CPU-Cooling : BeQuiet Dark Rock 2
So, i havent tried running any games yet, i will later, but still, not being able to update your driver sucks. Also, i tried this auto detect thingy that AMD offers, but that one thinks of my R9 280x as a HD 7XXX Series. To be fair, they are similar in some ways, but still.
Any help would be appreciated.
Oh yeah, and i also tried update the BIOS to the newest version, which did not help resolving this issue.
Thanks!

Edit : Well playing games is hardly fluid, as figured. Without a "real" driver.
