Hello,

I recently installed a radeon 7750 into my pc. I was aware that it required a psu of 500w-600w but mine is only 480. I play a lot of World of Warcraft whick I know uses up a lot if resources. I thought that if I keep the settings at medium, the psu wouldnt be under any stress. A few days ago, my computer srarted lagging after even the smallest commands and eventually crashed. I cleaned the case with my air compressor thinking dust could cause it to overheat, but once I set ut up and turned it on, it stays on the "loading operating system" screen and eventually asks to restart unless it goes into a black screen. I re-installed windows 7 but then the probkem started all over again. Could it be my wd 500gb or my psu? Plesse help! :(

If you have, or can borrow a different PSU, I'd try that, a 7750 doesn't require a lot, something like 16-17Amps and about a 425, but depending on your PSU it may say 480 and that's prob peak, watts, and continuous is prob down around 400 or less

I tried the PSU thing and it didn't help at all. Turns out that the issue was McAfee Anti Virus. I am running 64 bit version of Windows 7 and it doesn't react well. Was glad to know I wasn't the only person having this issue. Thanks for your answers!
