RAM to 1600 = crash

Solution
Hello... yes, extra voltage is needed along with higher setting, to get higher speed ram values... you need to downclock your RAM as you overclock your CPU FSB... or you will have Boot problems and Blue screens... You should RE-POST using something like, " wanting to overclock my phenom II 965 black edition- need Advice"... there are plenty of Overclocker here with Sound advice and experience.
You should RE-POST using something like, " wanting to overclock my ati radeon 4890- need Advice"
But BE Warned... Overclocking RAM/CPU/GPU will increase heat... and Different/better/case FANs and coolers maybe needed too keep your computer stable in all Seasons and Temperatures in your Home.
Hello... Ram is the most un-stable, and very sensivtive to settings, computer Part in your motherboard... But it is also the Fastest at performance at what it does... My advice is to let the motherboard and ram run together at what ever setting it likes, weather it be 1333 or 1600... if your computer BOOTs when you push the button, day after day, thats what is the most important thing... re-branding a 1333 part to 1600 is marketing practice, and compatiblity with every motherboard will vary.

main problem: 3d graphics turns into fail mode, doing crazy lights and screen black squares till blue windows screen (everything starts to freeze)

mobo: asus crosshair III formula
cpu: phenom II 965 black edition
gpu: ati radeon 4890
psu: ocz 750w (psu: power suply right?)
dram: ocz3bst1600lv2g

firsth time doint this, I did turn the dram voltage to 1,69
and pick 7-7-7-16-27 for ram latency at this moment it is stable and running some games like never before, i am turning sick for this called "overclock" (15minutes without crashes or blue screen makes me happy) but dont know if it is right , help? can i change my cpu and gpu rates too? thank you

i know that, for that reason i never try to overclock my systems but for some reason some patch or some game, some virus, whatever, my main system starts to fail, then turning ram to 1600 fix the problem but, more problems comes after that :p and here we are
