Okay. I know these are asked frequently, but I don't see as many for non-reference designs like the Lightning or Classified with ACX cooling. 780 is much cheaper now. And I know for a fact that the 780 Lightning/Classified easily outperform the 290X.
I like the 290X for the extra V-ram and the potentially awesome Mantle. Not digging the potentially month(s) wait for non-reference boards. And not digging the heat/noise for reference designs.
OTOH, I know the 780 TI is probably going to be faster, but am disappointed that it's "only" 3GB of VRAM for such an expensive card.
