Noctua Nh d14 afraid im broken cpu

when i was screwing the last 2 screws on noctua, i managed one but the other was really hard and i had to apply quite a bit of force to get it onto the other screw. Now im afraid i've damaged the cpu, can someone tell me if thats the right thing i've done or that infact i have broken the cpu?

Hmm :S thanks anyway, I've put ram in and now i wanna test to check. How do i connect to the monitor so i can check?

I would suggest you remove the cooler and inspect the damage if any first, rather than running a broken cpu/cooler causing further damage. As for the monitor- that will plug into the graphics card output.
