Hello,
So I'm currently looking around and wanted to upgrade my current pc to stay ahead of the new console generation. I had picked out a new board, processor, and new video card but I thought I would ask around before purchasing.
Build:
CPU: amd phenom II x60 1050t
Board: amd ga-870a-ud3
Ram: 4 gb ddr3
Video: GeForce gtx 460
So I don't really know what I should upgrade first or if I should upgrade all. My budget is $500-600 any advice is greatly appreciated.

Well as far as I can see your cpu and mobo are reliable enough. I should go for 8gb ram and upgrade to a better gpu. If your case can fit in this gpu then you should go for it:

I would suggest this RAM:

You might as well install an SSD (since you have another $200 to spend on upgrades). An SSD will not improve your gaming performance it will improve your performance during boot up, data transfer and programing. DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL YOUR WINDOWS ON IT.

This one is a bargain:
