I overclocked successfully to about 4.6 GHZ, i have voltage at 1.33v, ratio at 46, and BCLK at 103.

I cannot get my CPU to go any higher, if i adjust anything anymore the system bsod's or says overclocking failed.

Wether i adjust the 46 to 47, or 103 to 103.5, or even the volts from 1.33 to 1.35 something goes wrong. From what ive read and researched i should still beable to OC higher given max temps are around 75C in prime.

What should i adjust to get it to increase more?

Thanks

from what i see, i think you should be more concerned about your CPU voltage rather than temperatures. Intel's specified maximum temps and voltages for ivy bridge would be about 105C and 1.5v but, in order to try and avoid degradation of the chip as much as possible, it's generally believed 70C and 1.3v are the limits for daily 24/7 use.

any values that are ran over these limits over a elongated period of time, are generally believed to bring about the degradation of the chip and shorten its lifespan. however, hitting temps up to the mid 80sC, is generally considered alright only if it's for a short period of time (benchmarks, quick stress test, etc.)

with that said, have you tried a flat 100.0 BCLK and a 48 turbo multiplier? this...

Hey thanks for the response. My multiplier is actually 45, 46 was a typo, getting 4.6ish ghz. I actually didn't try something like 48 with 100 bclck I'll try that and post results.

Thank you

So i finally found time to play with my CPU. I tried running from 45 up to 48 on 100.00 bclk all at 3.33 volts, any higher it would blue screen on all setting... and it was all good until 47 +48

47 booted and ran Prime 95 for about 30 Min before reaching 105C on one core 100C on 2 cores and 98C on the last and i stopped it....

48 blue screened instantly.

SO i went down to 46 and changed the bclk to 101.00 and ran prime for 45 minutes and was fine.

I then changed it to 102.2 got it up to en even 4.7GHZ and temps are around 95C on prime after 1.5 hours, at 3 hours temps didnt change so i ended it.

I played with all the voltages and from what ive done im at an end. I feel as if theres more i can do with the voltages though since thats me week spot when it comes to overclocking..
