  1. Every thing looks good but an r9 280x like this one would be worth $50 dollars more. http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Version-PCI-Express-Graphics-11221-00-20G/dp/B00FLMKNE0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1383272187&sr=8-2&keywords=r9+280x You'll get about 20 more fps for most games.
  2. Well it is a good build. I'd just say get 840 evo for reliability. Performance wise you wont feel much difference

I thought about that but when i went on newegg there were a couple reviews that made me hesitate a little. And the gtx 760 has really good reviews.

If you dont want to run multi gpu setup in the future then you can get asrock z87 extreme 3 or extreme 4. And for that you could upgrade to a 280x or GTX 770. I'd say Asus r9 280x DC2
  10. This motherboard has great reviews http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-1150-CrossFireX-Motherboard-GA-Z87-D3HP/dp/B00CU4L4M2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1383276823&sr=8-6&keywords=gigabyte+z87 and can run multiple cards for a good price. The asus 280x dc2 would be great with it.
  11. Are two storage drives necessary? I am new and I thought I only need one hard drive?

Only one drive is needed. For faster boot up you can go with a ssd and regular hard drive. SSDs are expensive so you just store the os on them and use another drive for a primary storage device.

If your only getting one u should probably get a hard drive for the storage as well. If u get an ssd it will cost the same as a 1 or 2 tb hard drive but t would only be like 120 gb which isn't enough for everything
  15. Ok thanks for all the recrmendations guys. I think I might go with the gigabyte d3hp and get the r9 280x. And is the Asus one the best?

apart from that maybe go with the amd fx 8350 oc version it has 8 core whitch is pretty much futur proof and is being used more and more
