Hi guys I have a question, well two actually. Ok first of I've been looking to upgrade my hd 7850 to a r9 and have been having issues deciding which card to choose beteen the two versions of the 280x. So should i get the dual x oc 280x or the toxic version? is there any diffrence between the two cards? Oh and i plan on oc but without messing with voltages,so yeah which of those two would be better for that? And another question, would my corsiar cx 500 watt psu be able to power one of those two(even when oc'd on stock volts?) Thanks in advance!

Its a hard question, but if u want an R9, go with the Toxic, it has the highest clocks overall(comapred to Vapor-X: +150Mhz gpu clock & +200Mhz memory clock).
For me the 2nd option is the ASUS DCT2. 3rd is the Sapphire Vapor-X, and the rest. Yeah they like the energy, so I recommend a quality 650W psu, for example: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650snlb9

Have fun!

280x toxic is a power hungry card and its not advisable for you to have it with that CX 500W PSU. As it may give you all the power you need but it'll significantly reduce the lifespan of the PSU.

Dual X is also a good card but like rest of the R9 280x cards its also power hungry. But not like the toxic

I'll suggest either get a new psu of 600-650W with it or get GTX 760.
