Asus M5a97 le r2 won't turn on

I have the power switch plugged in and the mob power in and CPU. The mobo refuses to turn on even thought light comes on indicating that it is getter power from the psu. I have a raedeon hd 7850,fx 6300, corsair xms 3 8 gb ram and a 1 tb hard drive if it matters

May be shorting somewhere, may want to bench it,, have a guide that might help here:
