CX600 sufficient for one Sapphire 280x Toxic?

I've been interested in the Sapphire 280x Toxic for a while now but the only concern for me is the PSU requirements. On the Sapphire website, they say that for one 280x, you will need a 750W PSU. This seems rather overkill to me and load power benchmarks suggest that even a 550W would be able to handle the 280x Toxic as long as the PSU is a good quality.

I just want to know if I should avoid the 280x Toxic or whether my PSU would actually be able to handle it.

Toxic is power hungry though CX 600 W should be enough for it. And I guess sapphire has put 750W just for the sake of writing it as all of their 280x card ie dual x, vapor x & toxic. Has 750W recommended & 1000W for CFX

With a Toxic card the full system need about 550-600W. Btw Corsair CX is not a so good unit. I recommend a good quality 620-650W, for example XFX,Seasonic,Antec.
