Ram 1600 - 1866 - 2133

Solution
The really lose timings are why that ram is priced the same. I have that same kit, but I run it at 1866. I cannot seem to get my system to stay stable with it at 2133. Hope that there is another Black Friday deal on it so I can go 16gb. I haven't messed with the timings any. I generally don't take the time to tinker with settings like I used to.

If you plan on gaming on the 6800k, save yourself some headache. You can get a 760k, HD 7750, and ddr3 1600 for about the same price as a 6800k and DDR3 1866 or 2133 would run. It would be far better at games than the 6800k's IGP regardless of ram speed.

uhmmm i assume your suggesting another build i dunno much about hardware sir just a little.. is the 760k a cpu? the hd 7750 is gpu right cuz im keeping my budget as low as possible thanks if you could help me

and even i get the 8gb 1600mhz they have the same price like 2133 thats why i want to know whats the difference ? cuz i read some are talking about latency that i dont know about

Yes, the 760k is a cpu and the 7750 is a gpu.

Athlon 760k is the CPU and the HD 7750 is a gpu. The 760k uses the same socket/motherboard as that 6800k. If your intentions are games, you are better off buying that combo over of a 6800k. 2133 for same price is probably a discount price. 2133 is generally faster as it runs at a higher clock speed. I ran across this, it might be worth reading to get an idea of what you are asking for with regards to ram. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Understanding-RAM-Timings/26

ohhh ok so thats why their using the usual 1600 so they get the stable latency of 9 uhmm so is it possible to use 2133 and get the latency 9 by 1600? lol is it complicated and get me to work? and the price is not on sale you can check the 3 links i give above the 2133 and 1600 are the same price as the 1866 is price higher of 5$ lol thats why i get curious why that 2133 is cheaper than 1866
