Who to call for a new product key?

I hope this is the right place for this. I have an interesting dilemma. I have a really cheap laptop that I've had a ton of problems with. It completely died once and I sent it in for warranty service (it's a Samsung BTW). Recently I kept getting constant blue screens and occasionally it would bring up a screen that said I was missing a windows file. After fiddling with it a bit (I could occasionally get it to boot into safe mode), I decided to just use Samsung Recovery to restore to factory settings. Windows booted up fine after that and I set all the language options and things like that, but now it says I need a new product key, as the key that's on there now is associated with another PC. I assume this probably has something to do with the fact that they replaced the HDD when I sent it in the first time, but the restore point was from before I sent it in. Anyway, my question is, who should I call, Samsung or Microsoft, to try to get a new key, and will they actually give me a new key? Thanks for any help.

Laptops that comes preinstalled with Windows 8, the product key is inside the bios. Call Samsung, tell them what happen and because it still plague with problems. See if they can exchange for a new laptop.

I just went to Microsoft's site and went to the support section and didn't find anything very helpful there. I'll probably call Samsung in the morning and hopefully get it sorted out, I was just wondering if I'd be better off calling Microsoft. I basically just want this thing to hold out until I can build a gaming computer, probably early next year.
