Hi,

I'm running 3 Dell U2412Ms (no HDMI). I've got a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 (2 DVI, 1 HDMI, 1 Displayport inputs). Using Windows 8.1.

Two of the monitors are connected using DVI, straight to DVI ports on GTX 660. The two DVI-D's are displaying fine, but i'm using a passive Displayport -> HDMI -> HDMI PORT connection for the third, and no display is coming up. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I can't seem to figure this one out. The other displays are detecting fine.

I would really appreciate the help - staying up tonight trying to figure it out has come to no avail. I don't have any other options here other than VGA cables and that DP -> HDMI passive connection. Stupid that the monitor doesn't come with a DP cable?!?!?

your monitor has a DP port does it not?

why are you converting from a DP to an HDMI if the monitor does not have HDMI

Personally I would use a DP to DVI in case I would get a different monitor that does not have DP.
