I am buying asrock z77 extreme 3.will hd 7870 work properly on that mobo. The hd 7870 requires a pcie 3.0 x16 slot. But the sight says that pcie 3.0 works with 3rd generation intel core i5 and i7 CPUs. I have core i5 2300. Is that an issue. Please help.
