Cause I'm thinking of buying a Zotac gtx 780 amp!

But in some reviews they show the temperature is about 67c while on others is 79c

67c

79c

I have the choice between the zotac amp! and the Asus gtx 780 direct cuII oc version

Zotac amp! cost 617$
Asus Direct cuII cost 717$

From where I am from.

Zotac has 2 years local+ 3 years extended

Asus has 3 years local.

Which should I get. I don't think I would be overclocking anything.

Depends on the case and ambient temperature.

Lots of cases used in reviews are not Thermally Advantaged Chassis v2.0+ compliant, thus they run hotter on the inside than they should.

I'm using the corsair 350d with 2 Noctua a14 flx fans for intake. So it's really direct airflow. My ambient temp isabout 21c and 25 at max

Your case is great and the cards are fine to run upto 90C, you're fine. Also worth mentioning theres no speed differences between the two cards, so if you don't care about noise you can go with the cheaper one.

Okay thanks. But does lower GPU temps mean longer lifespan practically or just more room to OC?

Neither really, so long as you are under 90C. Your OCability is limited by your noise tolerance, since you can just turn the fans up to attain safe temps at a higher OC, but 780's run pretty cool even with high OC's so chances are it wont be terribly loud.

If the ambient temperature in the room, and around the component (such as inside the case) is lower then the overclock potential is substantially increased.

If you're moving 90CFM of air you may not notice this so much, but it does in fact make a difference.

Is the Corsair 350d TAC 2.0+ compliant?
