My friend and i are hoping to buy the same computer, we designed a custom one and we really want the satisfaction of building them together but we have never built one before so we were also contemplating a pre-built.

The prebuilt one: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1411_1553&products_id=25455

The custom one: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=197223&action=wish_lists

Please let me know which one would be a better choice.
Cheers, Ben.

To my eyes, they are pretty much the same.
R9 270x is a "boosted" HD 7870. So there shouldn't be any bad changes between these too.
Btw, you didn't mention what will be the usage of these PCs so I'll go ahead and guess it's a gaming rig. What comes after this is based on the theory you're gamers!! :)

If I was you I would not pick the 7870 for 219 but I'd pick the Sapphire Radeon HD7950 3GB OC Edition V3 for like 269$, and replace the 2 TB with a 1 TB.
Since you are picking a non K CPU, I guess you should keep the stock cooler from it, at least at the start, and save some bucks to have a decent GPU like the one I'm suggesting. It's a gaming rig after all. Stock coolers do fine for the first two or more months, after that they become...

Some tips: 750W is pretty much an overkill for this system *UNLESS* you're planning to Crossfire with another HD 7870 later!
2 TB is a lot of space, are you just casual gamers? < That's my opinion, I don't know you guys, but I just can't imagine myself with more than 1TB.

Synopsis: Your system is good, but I'd change the 7870 to 7950, the 2 TB to 1 TB, the 750W to 650W or 600W (High quality ones only). 1231 $, based on the site you gave us!
