Hi

I was wondering whether it would be possible to setup two monitors for my pc. I have an old monitor I would like to use, but it only supports vga. I could buy a converter (as my graphics card does support dual display) but I would prefer to use my motherboard for the old screen.

(as I live in South Africa, so their are issues with stock, costs and delivery, essentially it would cost more than its worth)

My motherboard is an MSI Z77a-G43.

Are there settings that would allow me to do so? Such as bios/other?

Won't work. You'll need to use the video card with a two monitor splitter.

Edit: apologies, I looked at your motherboards BIOS capabilities and it appears that you can do just that. Often times it isn't the case.

In your BIOS under settings > advanced, you should have an option for integrated graphics configuration. Hit enter on that, go to IGD Multi Monitor, and enable that. That should allow you to configure what you want in Windows.
