I’m sure you’re all bored with these posts but I’m looking to build my very first rig. Can you please have a look at the following spec I’ve picked?

Corsair XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 C9 - £69.14 delivered
Asus HD 7870 AMD Radeon DirectCU II Graphics Card - £156.23 delivered
Samsung 840 Series Pro 128GB - £100.79 + delivery
OR Samsung 840 Series EVO 250GB - £139.44 + delivery
Antec 520W Current Gamer - £ 53.97 delivered
CiT Vantage Gaming Case Black - £40 delivered

I’m going to salvage the hard drive, optical drive, wireless card and sound card from my old PC to reduce costs, these can be replaced at a later date. Total £670ish
A few questions. Which 7870 GPU is best for the £150 mark? Is there any point in spec’ing the larger but slower SSD (wanted primarily for OS)? Is the PSU sufficient? Thoughts on a decent case for the £40 mark?
Is there any point in downgrading some of the components to reduce costs without drastically reducing performance or to upgrade others? Are these good prices for the components?
