Hello, i have been lurking on this forum the past few days trying to find answers to this question, but i have not found it. so, i have decided to post something. i have a small form factor PC Acer Aspire x3300-U1322 and i was wondering what my options were as far as upgrading the graphics card.

i will be gaming very lightly playing counter strike and left for dead 2. the reason i want to upgrade my graphics card is because i want to install a second monitor.

as far as graphics cards go, i was debating between getting the HD 6450 and the HD 6570. is it really necessary to get a new power supply? i couldn't find a decent brand PSU that would fit into my case.

the corsair CX430 will not fit my case. my case is a slim line small form factor case. i think my PSU is a mini-ITX. and honestly, i dont have the money to build a rig from scratch nor is it necessary because i will only be gaming very lightly. i would really just like to upgrade my graphics card without having to upgrade my PSU. but if its absolutely necessary to upgrade my PSU, then i will.

hi
i have had an x3300 for a couple of years, as the case is small not many graphics cards will fit, if you own and have no problem with modifying the case then look to fit an amd hd card, the case will have to be cut for the cooling fans but I did it a long time ago and had no problems, I fitted an HD5750 but this will have been upgraded by now, happy new year
