I'm really new to pc upgrading. I'm getting a gtx 760 and want to pick up a new cpu along with it. I just want to know if i'll need to upgrade my BIOS if i change out my AMD fx-6100 for an fx-6350. Thanks for the help!!

Yes, it depends on your MB. For example, GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 4.1), fx6100 need the B2 version, and fx6350 need the C0. But Asus M5A78L-M LX3 need the 0201 version for the fx6100, and fx6350 is not in the cpu support list. So check it out yourself, because your don't list the model.
