Hard drive Not working after power outage

my main harddrive. a seagate barracuda 750GB stopped working after my power went out while playing a 3d game i could not boot back to windows after that and the hdd does not click anymore. i have run minitool partition manager and all the options were grayed out and under the drive letter it read. Bad disk, i have tried running a scan but there is about 140 million sectors and each sector takes about 30 seconds. so that would take about 2 months. does anyone have any suggestions as i am running on a 120GB toshiba Laptop drive and i am wondering if i can recover the data or if my drive is fried

It looks like the HDD has gone bad. Though you could try once by taking it out and then place it back and have the connections seated firmly. See what happens.

The second story of about data recovery entirely depends on BIOS. If the drive can be seen by BIOS then there is a chance of it, else I am afraid its gone.
