Hi i am noob to computers and i recently purchased a msi 7950 you can see it at this link : http://goo.gl/riT8wu
and fitted it to my pc it runs fine i can run most games on ultra settings 60fps no problem (bf3,bf4 sniper elite, sleeping dogs etc.) but my card overheats regularly as my card while gaming reaches temps from 75c to 110c what could i do to bring temps down as watercooling isn't really an option as it is very expensive and id probably screw it up and i have no motherboard ports for fans ( i had one and its being used by a current fan) what can i do to lower temperatures???

Solution
Hello... first take the cover off of your computer case and see if your temps stay down, if they don't you have to check your cooler mounting/thermal grease on your GPU... you can drill holes in a CASE for more air flow... and Power Fans from your Power Supply 5 volt and 12 volt connectors.

I had the same problem when running high end games. I cleaned the computer as best I could and it looked fine. Made no difference. Then I took out the video card and cleaned it thoroughly. The cooling fins on the fan side were really dirty. You just can't cool the fins when it is installed. It dropped the GPU temperature by more than 20 deg. C. I read a lot of posts and worried about the hard drive, PSU, need for more fans, etc. Simply cleaning the video card after removing it is almost certainly all you need to do.
