My Mom's computer is a piece of junk and I thought for christmas I'd build her a nice cheap PC that can perform very well under her load.

MSI FM2-A75MA-P33 FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
I've chosen a board that has 3.0 sata and 3.0 USB.

AMD A8-5600K Trinity 3.6GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 7560D AD560KWOHJBOX
A decently priced APU that should be able to run any light gaming (and even a heavier game at low settings maybe??? please help if I'm wrong).

Seagate Solid State Hybrid ST500LM000 500GB 64MB Cache 2.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Laptop Thin Hard Drive -Bare Drive
First thing is will this SSHD fit into my case? It's a laptop SSHD but I can't seem to find a 500GB hybrid drive on Newegg.
A hybrid drive for FAST boot times and quick internet browsing. Her system now he the SLOWEST load time and the internet browse performs like a snail.

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM
Here I might have gone overboard and you can help me on this, 2x4GB sticks of RAM 1866 MHz speed and 8 cas latency. These are 80$ and I could probably lower my budget a bit without losing any performance really but I had light gaming, and other things in mind so please help me here.

SeaSonic SS-300ET Bronze 300W ATX12V V2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - OEM
My PSU is 40$ bronze certified 300W (is this enough wattage?).

DIYPC Skyline-B Black Steel USB 3.0 ATX and Micro-ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 1x 80mm Fan
Last is my case I was able to find a 30$ case with a front USB3.0 port.

Windows 8
I want her to upgrade to a new sleek looking operating system.

This is my first build ever and I'll most likely need some help help! I really want to cut costs where I can with this build and maybe drop it about 100$ if at all possible. If there are any compatibility issues with anything here please let me know! thanks so much for the help :)

Hi, thanks for the reply!

I wanted to cut costs where I can to get this build at the 500$ mark. I should have made that clear in my post, sorry.

The ram is overkill, go with 1333 or 1600mh and 2x2gb , the PSU will be enough since the CPU has its own GPU. And maybe go for standard 500gb HDD
