To check if it is, have a look in Device Manager under 'Imaging devices'.
Is it there?
If not, then let us know what system it is you are using and we will try to track down the correct drivers for you.
If your WebCam is listed in Device Manager then you may want to test it.
To do this, you could download and install 'Skype' and when you set up a profile, it will check your video configuration and if it finds the camera, then you should be looking at an image of yourself on the display.
