Hello I have a problem and few questions to you. The problem is that I have single stock Samsung M471B5273DH0-YK0;PC3-12800, 1600mhz, 4Gb RAM module in my laptop(Compaq CQ58 341SA) but when I look at SPD tab in program CPU-Z it says PC3-12800(800Mhz) is this normal? Where is half of the speed gone? I also found out that my procesoor i3 2348M supports maximum of DDR3 1333Mhz, may this be a cause of this? Should I upgrade my RAM to 1333Mhz because of this? Will the upgrade of RAM speed up my Intel HD 3000? What brands should I consider when buying ram? Which to avoid? Last question, why there aren't any options to change in my BIOS menu, I have only System and Exit tab. If you need anymore information tell me, I will post them asap. Thank you.

800 times 2 give the ram speed .
Your RAM is DDR or double data rate. CPU-Z reads the true speed but RAM is listed at effective speed for marketing purposes. So you are fine. All DDR RAM lists that way in CPU-Z.
