Hi,

I'm not not too familiar with these things... so any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Comcast recently changed my plan from "Performance" to "Blast", which will increase my download speed to 50mbs...
However, I'm currently getting around 10Mbs via http://speedtest.comcast.net/
They told me that this is probably happening because of my DOCSIS2.0 router (Linksys CM100).
I'm planning to buy a new Router today, since i don't want to pay $7 rent every month lol

Would my Wireless Router could meet the performance on my new DOCSIS 3.0 router that i'm going to get?
This is current wireless router (Linksys E2000) that i have (with spec): http://reviews.cnet.com/routers/linksys-e2000-advanced-wireless/4507-3319_7-34103434.html

First question:
Should I buy new wireless router to maximize the performance potential or is my current wireless router would work? If it doesn't, is there any recommendation?

Second question:
how do i tell the speed performance on wireless router and regular router?
To me it looks like it is depend on "Data Link Protocol" and "Data Transfer Rate", but all of these spec seems similar to other expensive wireless router...

Thank you so much for reading!
