In my Battlefield 4 folder I noticed that there are to ways to start BF4.

One way to open the normal bf4.exe then there is bf4_x86.exe

when opening the x86 version i noticed it disables the ability to change graphic options in game.

My question is, what are the differences between them?

I would not recommend playing on a 32 bit (x86) system, it is horrible! All the graphics are locked as low as they can go and it looks horrible and it's not a pleasant experience. (core2 Duo e7300, 4GB Ram, 5750) but with a decent PC and a 64 bit version of BF4 it is a lot better looking and it goes above 20 fps.
