Trying to sort a little present out for a mate,
Hes wanted to get into gaming for a while!!

SO far the parts i have lying around!!
HP Proliant ML115 PC, Opteron 1354 CPU and mobo

need a cheap gpu and PSU to get this off the ground, really looking as cheap as possible!!!

You should really consider just starting fresh. That's such an old CPU that it will be hard to get any gaming running on it. Here's a sub-400 dollar build to consider though.

Im really not wanting to spend at all if possible, its just to get him into entry level gaming,
the opteron is decent enough old quad core, AM2+, looking at going 2-3 years old on most of the parts tbh,

Just be aware that neither GPU will do much for gaming.

It's somewhere in between the GTS 450 and the GTX 650. It would probably be on par with the GTX 550.
