I am looking to get some advice on this build I made. All the parts are from the same shop - overclockers UK. I can only get my parts from there.

CPU - Intel Core i3-3240 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail

Please note I have built a rig before. This is an upgraded retry. Sold old one. I know I am compromising on the CPU but I can upgrade in 6 months and I think it is fine in the mean time and wont bottleneck the GPU at all, maybe some frames. Not massively important. 4GB RAM is fine I am sure. Is this good? Do these parts go well together? If not, could you find better parts on this website within £625 or $995. Thanks.

Its good except CPU but you said you were changing. Everything else is fine though. And get the 280x instead of 770. Also i would get a H100i just incase. And the website name overclockers gives me a strange feeling youre going to overclock. If you are, get the H100i.

Thanks for the reply. The shop name is just coincidence. I am not overclocking until I get a I5 3570k (think that is right). Stock cooling should be fine right? Good idea? I think so. I have seen gameplay of the non OC version and if I overclock that a little? I could get almost TITAN performance on some games. From benchmarks I have seen. XD

And everything else is ok? Power supply is cool? Right? Just making sure because I thought my last PC was great but it does this strange lag thing where it plays easy at 40-60 fps then all of a sudden drops to 20 and the fans speed up on my GPU. Strange. Only happens on some games. I think it is a curse. Just double checking to make sure it doesn't happen on this system. XD
