what windows 7 i need bit 32 or 64

U can get full 4GB RAM on 64bit windows.
On 32 bit , u can only get up to 3.8 or 3.6GB , if I didnt remember wrong.
It really hard to get full 4GB on 32bit OS, ~

You probably don't need to, but if you want to go over 4gb RAM, you will have to go to 64-bit, as 32-bit is capped at 4gb.
If you have the disk to install 64-bit already, it might be worth the upgrade (note it takes a full reinstall to change to 64-bit). It's probably not worth buying a new copy to get 64 bit though, except in the situation I mentioned above.
