This is the link to the gaming pc I'm looking at. I'm just wondering if this is a good pc. I'm very new at this so I don't really know what I'm talking about. I'm just looking for some help. I would also like to know, just out of curiosity, if it is better than my laptop now. It has a dual core processor and AMD Radeon HD 7520G. It also has a total of 250g of hard drive space. I honestly only understood like half of those specs. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

That is a build you could do yourself that would be substantially better then the prebuilt machine while actually having a decent Motherboard and PSU (the PSU of the CyberPower machine was a 350 watt no name brand that would probably blow in a month) to allow for future upgradability.

What are you expecting as far as performance. For a starter its not bad although the money spent could go further if you chose to make your own machine if you think your up to it. As for it compared to the laptop, it is better although don't expect bf4 at 1080p at 60 frames. I myself would recommend making a computer yourself with the money although start it as a base and just get it up and running, focus on a quality psu and motherboard first, and go for an a10 processor. The A10 is decent in terms of processing power although decent is enough considering most games rely substantially more on the GPU which you would worry about later. The A10 also comes with a built in GPU which, while it isn't great, it is better then the one your laptop has. If you would like I can get you a parts list put together budgeted at about the same price as that machine. Additionally if you want to give me a different budget I can make your a list of what you would get as well as what you could expect with set machine.

Thanks for the help that means a lot. However, as I mentioned before I am totally new at this. So would I have to build that myself or would it ship already built? If it doesn't come in already built I may know a guy I could take it to. Also how much would I pay for a decent monitor? Thanks for your help!

They would ship the parts individually like they have listed on the site. There's plenty of guides on here on how to build your own computer but buying those parts like the other man listed would be a much better comp than the best buy one.

For the most part pieces fit together in ways that are fool proof. It is really hard, I'd like to say impossible but nothing is "Impossible", to put the wrong part in the wrong place. And as for assembly a 10 minute youtube video will clear most of it up.
