Can I batch open file explorer windows to a specific window size and location on screen? I have four folders that I need to watch at all times. When the computer is restarted, I have to manually open the folder windows to each directory location, resize and move them. It's kind of a pain.

Check this thread; it applies to Windows Explorer as well...
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1776940/window-size-puzzle.html

It’s the same method as explained in the thread but with added folder resizing and locating on the screen.
1. You need to create four shortcuts; one to each of the four folders..
2. Save the shortcuts in C:\Documents and Settings\User folder\Start Menu\Programs\Startup... this will open the four folders on each computer restart.
3. Next close all files and programs leaving only the four folders open. Next you need to resize the folders and place them on the spot of the screen where you want them, or tile them (right click on the Taskbar\click on; Tile Windows Horizontally), and place them in the order you want them. Next go to each of the folder's File menu and click on Close... While you do this, press and hold the CTRL key... this makes the system "remember" the folder size and position... That's press the CTRL key when you begin and release it when you finish... While doing this make sure no other files or programs are running.

Now restart the computer and see if all four folders open and tile on the screen. It may take a while for the four folders to open so wait till all four folders are open and tiled... You may have to repeat the process till you get it right... I'm not sure if the folders will keep the size and location but they will tile as long as you don't undo the Tile.

EDIT: Before opening the folders to tile them, press CTRL > right click on the Taskbar, and select Tile Windows Horizontally... This will make them tile in the alphabetical/numeral order they are in the containing parent folder and they will be remembered in that order by the system.... otherwise they will open in random order the next time.

Yeah i've tried that. The problem is is that this computer is remoted into by at least 4 other computers, having different remote resolutions. I was hoping for a batch file that could close and reopen/reposition the four explorer windows.
