What is this. I boot up my PC after having no problems since i installed windows8 pro on it in aug. and all of a sudden my Monotor has no signal and then I plug it into the MB and windows pops up. I click on the NCP and it says there is no nvidia gpu connected to your pc. other than this I have Had no prblems with any of my hardware.....??

Good to hear that you got it back. The next options would have you remove the card from the slot and boot without it then power down and re-insert the card or possibly use another available slot.

there are two things dvi and d-sub both did not work. But DVI always worked before. And neither DVI connection on the GPU works.

Ok I turned off my PC unplugged my graphics card(PNY GTX 770, 3 months old) and looked at it and it seemed fine not that I would know what I faulty GPU would look like from the outside. plugged in in and when i trurned my PC on now the onboard did not work so I plugged it into the GPU and it works. I really don't know what that was about. And I hope it does not happen again because I can't afford to replace it right now and I am expecting a 144hz asus monitor so I hope this card lasts until I get a 780 or a r90x.

I was hping the slot was fine becuase my MB only has one PCI-E 3.0 slot, the other is a PCI-E 2.0@x4 so i am not sure if the grahpics card would even work right in that slot
