Hello,

Im really confused. I got this Quadro k2000. There are 2 display ports and 1 DVi. My choice is to use 2 monitors for editing and one tv. The display ports can have a better resolution. So I thought I would have two monitors in the Dvi port and I would put the television in the DP port. I got a Dvi adapter that can hook the 2 monitors in the dvi port, but both monitors display the same image, and I wanted to have one whole image on the 2 monitors. How can I do that? Any other sugesttions?

Thank you

Solution
Just put all monitors on their own port. It'll be cheaper that way. Splitters that give independent monitors are like $100+.

But what is the diference from each of these ports? For what I understood... Display ports give a better quality. Isnt it Going to be a diference from each other?

DP has a higher bandwidth for higher res. Dvi supports up to 2560x1600 @ 60hz while dp goes up to 4k @ 60hz. DP supports 10+ bit color and other color spaces which would only matter if you are using a deep color capable display. No way a tv will be 10 bit, only professional ips monitors. If your monitor/tv doesn't have these, they are exactly the same.
