Hey will his setup run bf4 maxed out at a comfortable fps around 60+ playing at 1920x1080?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Wez2

Thanks. (also what else do i need or can i get rid of to keep myself under a $1000 budget)

P.S im still unsure about the case, if i need any extra cooling of any sort, if i need expansion cards at all, so obviously i am quite new to building PC's haha. Any help is appreciated greatly

Solution
Viola, though you'll need a cooler to OC the 3570k. Only reason to go 3570k is because it is cheaper than 4670k and there is this super cheap board on sale. Otherwise the 4670k is "better"
If you're not OCing, grab a normal haswell +H81/B85

Swapped for a cheaper SSD still awesome.
7970 instead of 7950 (boost)
Dual Channel Ram
Safer Power supply

I can't really see any ways to drop the price any without switching to an AMD build. You should use two sticks of RAM though to activate dual-channel mode.

I'm sorry to say though unless you have an 290x, you can't "max out" bf4

Solution
No.
However, the game will still look and run well if you play around with the quality settings. You need roughly a $500 GTX780 to consider BF4 mostly maxed out.

*That's a very poor card for the money. $300 for an HD7950 is a rip-off. You can get a GTX 770 for just a little more. I'll post a benchmark below.

Your build:
You want 2x4GB not a single stick of memory or performance is reduced.

I'll just put a build together to make it easier...

The above build is very good.
However, I would strongly urge a GTX 770 instead as it's a much better card. The 2GB vs 3GB isn't much of an issue even for BF4, I looked into that carefully:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_770_TF_Gaming/26.html

The Asus or MSI version is 21% faster than the chosen HD7950 in BF4.

PRICE:
The 770 is $330, however it has a really great GAMES PACKAGE which includes Batman Arkham Origins which closes the $50 price difference by itself.

Some other interesting things:
- Shadowplay
- G-Sync (future monitor)

Now MANTEL will come to a select few games for the AMD card, however at best it would close the gap in performance for those select few games that support it (not going to be as huge as some think).

Cards I recommend:
1) ASUS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121770

2) MSI http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127741

GAMES INCLUDED:
- Batman Arkham Origins
- Splinter Cell Blacklist
- ACIV Black Flag

These games cost $150 new!

Oh crap sorry, I left it out by accident

Photonboy's build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Wfqu

I concentrated on getting the best GRAPHICS and CPU to fit the budget. A few points:

1) No SSD.
A single SSD adds about $90 and you'd still need a hard drive. I would have had to get a cheaper CPU and Graphics Card. You can get an SSD later. It makes no difference to gaming except loading times (I test these things).

2) GTX770
Better than HD7950, and again the $150 in Games is truly awesome.

3) CPU cooler:
What can I say? Much better than stock. The i5-3570K should be overclocked to either 4.1 or 4.2GHz. First set the profile via "XMP" and run at that stock setting for a while.

4) 1866MHz CAS9 DDR3. Went with that instead of 1600MHz as it can make a difference in a few games.

5) CASE:
My dad has the same Antec One. It's a solid if plain looking case. You may want something different but if so:
a) make sure graphics card fits (10.5" supported. MSI 770 is 10.2" so it fits)
b) USB3 front
c) Case fans?
d) read customer reviews if you wish

Other:
- get Start8 for $5 from Stardock.
