APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Before the 15th of Nov. BUDGET RANGE: USD 130 without rebates +- 20$

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Team Fortress 2, HD movies, CS:GO, Batman origns.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Asus Gtx 460 and Corsair 750TX 750W PSU

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Msi P55-GD65, Core i5 -760, 4 gb ram. Case: Cooler Master elite 450

PARTS PREFERENCES: NOT asus. AMD or nVidia does matter, a relible manufacturer does preferably with international warranty.

OVERCLOCKING: No SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I am happy with the performance of gtx 460, but I need something more rellible. The asus card showed artefacts since day one. My gtx lasted barely 2 years. My pc runs all day long most of the time. Would prefer something that performs the same, nothing more and is cooler/ will last longer. Thanks!

All three of those are good options. Sapphire's tend to be great out of the box, while the MSI's tend to be much more overclocking friendly. I'd still recommend the EVGA for longevity's sake and the face that it is still the beefiest of the three, although the performance differences are negligible. The only real advantage the EVGA has over the other two is that it blows its heat out of your case instead of circulating heat around the case.

Thanks a lot for your response. Is the price 129 with or without rebates?

Also I see that you said you would be getting the card before the 15th but remember black Friday and cyber Monday are right around the corner and you may be able to get it at a better price or a beefier card for the same price if you are willing to wait it out.

I figured, but my requirement is urgent. Also I was wondering if there was a relible option for a Radeon 7850 2gb? I think EVGA doesn't make those? Would it be a good choice? I have hear alot of good things about those and they are within budget, only 20$ more.

EVGA makes Nvidia GPUs exclusively, as for a reliable Radeon GPU I'd recommend ASUS although I think that's a red flag for you. The main reason I recommended that specific card is its shroud which blows its hot air out of the case instead of circulating it around like your previous card. As for the 7850 they are almost identical in performance and price but the cooling on any 7850 you would get at that price range would the same type as your previous card and it would also be limited to 1gb of memory at that price range.

The performance gain is tempting. What would you suggest from these two? My MSI mobo has been rock solid. Wouldn't mind MSI

MSI R7850 Twin Frozr OC AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB:

EVGA 02G-P4-3657-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB:

Also it seems from a few quick google searches, Sapphire is the
EVGA equivalent for Radeons. Would this be a good option?:

Thanks!
