So i was looking at my first water cooling PC and i decided on which water cooling kit i was gonna get (here: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24223 )
So i would like a blue interior of my system, and i was looking at some tubing and the only blue tubing they have is in either 1/2 or 3/8 tubing. So would either of them fit on 7/16 compression fittings or would i have to buy different fittings??

I wont be getting the system until next year since i need to get a job to pay for it, i would like to get

  • CPU: 4930K
MOBO: Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black edition
    GPU: GTX 780Ti
I would like to overclock to 5+Ghz and used mainly for gaming and editing for youtube
I may end up waiting for Haswell-e

Any other advice would be appreciated
Thanks :)

1/2" is just a bit bigger than 7/16", 3/4" is a fair bit bigger (surprisingly, these fractions actually indicate real size :p)
So I think your out of luck and will just have to buy different tubing.

Although, I would email PCCaseGear and ask if they can bring 7/16" tubing back into stock. I asked about a particular reservoir and it was available for purchase within a couple of days, so chances are they can bring it into stock if you ask.

Also, I suggest you go for this kit rather than the one you linked.

This one has a reservoir and pump (same pump in both) that can be seperated and become standalone components, on your original one if either...

This one has a reservoir and pump (same pump in both) that can be seperated and become standalone components, on your original one if either the pump or res fail or otherwise become insufficient then you have to replace both. Allso the AX series rads have a bit better performance than the EX.
