My current Config is
Processor: Intel core i5 e2500 3.30ghz (second Gen)
Mainboard: Intel DH61WW
Ram: Corsair XMS 4gb x 1 -> Going to Upgrade it to Corsair Vengeance 4gb x2 (planning to add another 8gb kit in future)
GPU: Power Color HD 6670 -> Going to Upgrade it to GTX 760
PSU: Cooler Master extreme power plus 460w -> Going to Upgrade it to Corsair TX650
Cabinet: Cooler Master elite 310
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Cooler (Planning to add with Mobo)

Basically i want to upgrade my year old PC, so i need your help guys.

i tried to check it online Here, but i am too confused which one to select.
iam looking for a budget one which would have most of the features,
Iam dont wish to invest more than 200$ or around 12,000 Rs

there are multiple questions going in my mind, like
which type of mobo to choose,
ATX or micro ATX?

i wont be running multi GPU.
also Iam not into overclocking much, but i have heard that few mobo can overclock non K processers, so that should be a bonus :D

I found these following Motherboards bit decent,
http://www.flipkart.com/asrock-h77-pro4-mvp-motherboard/p/itmdcpwsmkrxhf6e?pid=MBDDCPWRNJ7GBVGP&ref=99809da4-a59a-4e2f-88c9-cbda3d1594f8 (looks cheap and nice)

but as i said the list is Huge

so please help me guys is selecting right motherboard.

Solution
1. Let me assume that your cpu is a i5-2500. If so, it is a very competent cpu. There is no value in changing out a motherboard for it.
If you have a "K" suffix cpu, you can overclock by raising the multiplier on a Z77 based motherboard. Some motherboards figured out a way to allow this with a non Z77 motherboard, but Intel did not support that and has taken steps to stop the practice.

On motherboard size, M-ATX will be cheaper and just as good since you will be using only one graphics card.

2. For gaming, a graphics card upgrade will be best. A GTX760 is very good. It will need a 550w psu, the corsair TX650 is good.

3. The only value of a cm hyper212 and a i5-2500 will be quieter operation under load. The stock cooler may...
Firstly , with the word CPU I mean Processor , mem for memory/RAM.
If you want the Z77 chipset advantages for ya in a considerable cost , get the ASRock Z77 Extreme3 - http://www.flipkart.com/asrock-z77-extreme-3-motherboard/p/itmdeyyxhfdvy3de?pid=MBDDEYYWBFYM5SKP&ref=79f56c37-8b6c-426b-8e37-17107f4a8657

It has the features all other mobos till the 13K range carry in 9.5K + ASRock quality and it OCs well. I have that one so I can say its great and the best budget pick for the Z77 chispet advantage.

If you seriously dont want OCing ( which your CPU can anyways can't , unless your upgrading it as well ) and SLI get a B75 chipset board it will do fine. They will save you lot of money too.

My only doubt is the CPU , its good and will keep it up till the GTX 770 at its best so you might look to save now and once the 5th gen Core CPUs come out , do a completely new system. Also your current CPU wont OC. CPUs with the "K" abbreviation in the end are OCing capable.

Your CPU supports 1333MHz mem at best , anything above is underclocked. So if you find 1333MHz mem for cheap , pick it up as 1600MHz or 1866MHz mem will be equally performing.

ATX and mATX are just sizes of the boards. You can pick either size for your PC , both will fit in the chassis or cabinet.

4. On the ram upgrade, verify that the 8gb kit is compatible with your motherboard. Do not pay extra for fancy heat spreaders which are not needed. Do not pay extra for speed > 1600. Actually 1333 os ok if there is a big price difference.

5. One of the most satisfying pc upgrades is for a SSD for the os and a few apps/games. 120gb will do it.

wow,

thanks a lot for your quick response guys.

sounds like ASRock Z77 Extreme 3 Motherboard is well in my budget.

And thanks to your suggestion geofelt, i wont be buying hyper212, stock cooler didnt give me any problems till now.

i have already preordered Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) PC RAM (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9R) so i guess there is no turning back here

iam also planning to buy SSD in the future.

so my final question is should i just finalize ASRock Z77 Extreme 3 Motherboard and order it?
