After not upgrading my GPU for a couple of years i'm looking to upgrade from my HD4850 for gaming at 1920 x 1080. Budget is around +/- £100 and have been looking at the Gigabyte 7850 2GB for £109 but wondered whether or not my current PSU was suitable.

Current specs are as follows:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620
GPU: HD4850 1GB
PSU: Corsair VX450W
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3

Yes your psu can handle your graphic card very well.

That Corsair 450W will have no problems running a 7850

That Athlon will bottleneck the 7850 a fair bit though, but regardless the 7850 is a great choice

I plan on upgrading CPU/Mobo/RAM at some point in the near future, and thought the 7850 would still somewhat be relevant when I get around to doing this, thank you for the feedback!
