I am planning to finally buy a pair of Steelseries Siberia v2 and I don't know if I should buy the USB version or not. If I do, will I still be able to use the jacks or not because I don't want to have virtual 7.1 sound all the time (I usually listen to music while playing my games).

More about : steelseries siberia

You can either buy a usb or a minijack. If you buy the minijack you would be able to connect it to your phone, tablet etc, but the sound quality may be worse. If you buy the usb one you can only connect it to a PC and to some tablets, but the sound quality is usually better. You can turn off the virtuall surround with the steelseries engine, which is also very good and intuitive. If you buy the usb version you aren't gonna use the jacks, of course.

Thanks for your reply. I have one more question tough: Does the frost blue edition have 7.1 sound?
