Hi Maurelie, thank you for your prompt reply.

can i ask you the rationale for choosing the gigabyte r9 280x and not another manufacturer ? it seems those are pretty noisy and power intensive.

could you please also elaborate on the case, is there any particular reason you choose the storm scout ? (i'd like to have a quiet if possible, don't wanna have the nasa in my room)

thank you for your help.

(taking good note for the monitor. i was thinking 27" though, i will look if benQ produces the same model in 27")

I've red somewere that cable management on CM silencio 650 was a bit tight squeeze, on Storm scout 2 will be easier.Since you will be not doing heavy overclocking, you will not hear the fans on Storm scout2 and the sound dampening on Silencio 650 will keep you pc hotter than High Air Flow case. I just noticed now that i put Gigabyte instead of Asus cards. Asus R9 280X will run cooler and have higher clock speed, and are 15-20$ more expensive that the Gigabyte ones.So go with the Asus ones.

all right, thank you. do you think there will be enough space in between the gpu slots on the asus board with those cards ?

thanks for the tip on the case.
