This is the laptop I bought recently: It comes with an integrated APU + Dedicated Graphics card. I wasn't expecting it to be a powerhouse, since I bought this laptop primarily to run low-med end games, mostly strategy games.

As far as I understand, Crossfire still has micro-stuttering issues, and it became apparent when I tried playing Neverwinter Nights 2. The game ran at a nice 30 FPS, but it kept stuttering quite a bit, even with VSync enabled.

I don't know if it has something to do with not knowing how to disable Crossfire, or if it's the game itself, but is there anyway to run only the Dedicated Graphics card, and not the APU + GPU together?

Also note: I downgraded from Windows 8 to 7 due to compatibility issues with programs I normally use.

Okay, apparently I don't exactly have Crossfire, but it seems I have Dual Graphics, which is a combination of the 8550G and the 8750M. When I go to disable the Dual Graphics, it marks that it disables the GPU and not the APU, which is obviously something I don't want to happen. Problem is, there doesn't seem to be a way to get it to use the GPU only. Any ideas?

right click on desktop>amd vision centre>performance>disable dual graphics. Then again right click on desktop>switchablegraphics and set the .exe of the desired application to high performance
